INTERESTS Perhaps a touch too obsessed with the NFL, or whatever other sport’s on. Also a fan of good books, computer games and film.
THEOLOGY That delightful combination of reformed and charismatic, valuing the Trinity in its eternal, active, sovereign, grace-filled perfection. Hold in high regard the God-breathed Bible, the joyful and powerful local expression of the global church empowered by the Holy Spirit, the responsibility of all believers to be involved in social action and evangelism…and, above all, the grace of God.
This is the second time today I have read the acronym AV. It doesn’t mean Authorised Version in this context…so, what is it, please? Sue
You’re the second person this week that asked me that – the first is IN the AV team, so that doesn’t bode well! AV stands for audio-visual (i.e. projection of song lyrics and sermon slides, lighting, band, PA…)
And it came to me like the answer to a crossword clue, when I wasn’t thinking about it! PA being public address, of course. Thanks. Sue
