I was reading an article the other day which made me chuckle. A lady was healed from a disability which meant that she received benefits from the Government. When she asked for the befits to be stopped, she was told that that couldn’t happen, because the system didn’t recognise miracles as a genuine reason.
This is characteristic of ‘new atheism’ – in the face of pure evidence, the new atheist puts his hands over his ears, shuts his eyes tight, and starts to sing at the top of his lungs, ‘I don’t believe it! I don’t believe it!’
Here’s the truth: there is no explanation other than the miraculous for this lady’s healing, yet I’m pretty certain that new atheists that read it won’t admit that they’re wrong and convert to Christianity. Please, someone, prove me wrong.
